New Service from Google is Coming Soon!!!

They call it Google Voice (One Number for all Your Phones), which is a service that enhances the existing capabilities of your phone numbers. With it, you can access your voicemail online, read automatic transcriptions of your voicemail, create personalized greetings based on who is calling, make cheap international calls, and more.

The service is FREE, unfortunately, it seems only available in the United States. Additionally, Google Voice is currently available by invite only. You may request an invitation here.

Service History

One day in 2005, Craig Walker had a big idea that what if you had a personal phone number you could keep for life? Craig wondered. You’d never again have to give everyone you know a new phone number simply because you moved, got a new job, or switched cell phone providers. Using this one number, you could centralize all of your voicemails on your computer. Craig and Vincent Paquet created a company called GrandCentral to bring the idea to life – adding lots of cool features along the way. Google bought the company in 2007, and renamed it Google Voice.

What can I say, it’s simply Google!

Well thanks Trucer, however, regardless of the service providers, we hope whoever does reach a steady solution, would spread it for the whole world to share and not limit it to certain countrie(s). :)
