mac starts talking in 1984 when steve jobs introduced it, & that was an innovation by it self.. but how it's going to useful..!
to be honest i wasn't relaying on that a lot until know, when i was digging up my mac i discovered..
That i don't have to read what's on the screen any more mac can do it for me..
go to system preferences → Speech.
tick "speak selected text when the key is pressed" & assign any combination of keys.. done
know highlight any text & press the keys that you assigned, enjoy

Someone told me that who think he knows everything will never learn.

I was searching for how to make to shortcut to speak selected text for days, but I bumped into this one by mistake!
