Flickr has been my favorite hangout for the past 1 and half year. I've uploaded there over a 1000 photo in the past one year and still counting. But, many asks me why flickr? for me it was obvious the simple interface and the great tools for uploading plus its the most popular hang out for photographers from all around the world.

Before a minute, I noticed that flickr has enabled their new video uploading option. Now, you can upload your own videos on flickr and playback through flash. Although, am not sure how successful this will be but I've viewed couple videos and they look pretty good click here to see what i mean.

Yesterday Urood team started something extremely useful here in Kuwait. Its not just a brilliant idea but its truly creative and it came when most needed. Ever now and then I see posts and ads about blood donations and how it may save lives! Urood came up with a new section "Community service" part of the community service is the blood bank link.

All you have to do is, click on the link and type write your information and blood type. so, if someone is in emergency they can look up matches on Urood. I think, this is wonderful and everyone should participate in this great humanitarian service
