Just returned from very long day at work and last thing I expected to open up KwtMac and blog. but, this news is a must read for IM users. I just downloaded Yahoo! Messenger upgrade and they've done cool changes, now you can make calls PC to PC or even PC to Phone. There is other changes to the overall look and feel but I think its much better than the old version...

I must say working in a team can be difficult if you don't have proper tools. For a free lancers or individuals who cannot afford such license I just found a perfect tool for this case. Actually, you cannot call it a collaboration software because its more like a software that makes sharing much easier with just couple clicks. I've been using it now for almost 2 days & the only problem I've faced so far is minor issues with performance that you cannot use it unless you are online. Since I phased out completely to EGO device I've been taking it every where I go. There is times when you need to share the internet with a friend at a coffee shop or at home for my dad. Well, when you are outside at a coffee shop its a great risk to keep your WiFi open for public. so, today we found out a way to secure the network with password authentication.
First you do the steps mentioned here to enable sharing from your EGO/Mobile/Lan through WiFi. Then, you go to Network from System preferences and click on Airport.
As showing in the above figure click on the drop down menu and choose create network. A new screen will pop up asking you the name of your Computer, Channel and password if required. Leave everything as default if you wish and tick on require password then choose "128-bit WEP" and write long password something like "fiction12345%" would work.
Once you save the settings, immediately the network icon on your menu bar will change to something like this
