Well, been discovering Leopard since I've just recently installed it, and thought of trying Internet Sharing which is under Sharing in System Preferences.

(you'll have to pick any port to enable the Internet Sharing after that you'll get a confirmation message to which you should respond Start)

Leopard Internet Sharing

I thought of trying to select AirPort since I wanted to check if I'll be able to use the WiFi to connect to Internet on my iPhone. It worked like magic!!

After enabling Internet Sharing...Go to Settings on your iPhone, then WiFi and you should see your machine's name there, select it and Enjoy!

I've been able to use the Installer which asked me to update it to 3.01. I've installed couple of packages, SendSong and MobileToDoList. However, both didn't work, can't understand why, so I deleted them. Also I browsed through YouTube and iTunes...The connection speed was really decent.

Enjoy!

Leopard 10.5.2

I hope every one is having a good day, Its dusty outside but we getting used to it lately. I just updated my leopard to 10.5.2 & since then I've been looking up the changes. Obviously there is some major security update for the Foundation (URL handling), Launching Services (An application removed from the system may still be launched via the Time Machine backup), Mail (Accessing URL), NFS (If the system is being used as an NFS client or server, a remote attacker may cause an unexpected system shutdown or arbitrary code execution), Open directory, Parental control, Samba, terminal and X11.

As you see in the screen shot now sharing added a one more new function to the list. Now, you can share your optical drive (DVD/CD) over your wireless network. I have not tested this option yet with my other machine but it seem like it meant for Macbook Air..
